Three ways people arrive here

The number tells you most of the story. We handle the rest.

A visa subclass is shorthand for a set of rules, evidence and timing. Find the one that sounds like your situation — then let's confirm it properly.

482

Employers sponsoring workers

You can't fill a role locally and sponsorship is the way through. We run the employer side end to end.

  • Standard Business Sponsorship approval
  • Nomination and position evidence
  • Labour market testing guidance
  • SAF levy and cost planning
  • 482 → 186 permanent transition

Skilled workers and trades

Points-tested, state-nominated or employer-sponsored — the right pathway depends on your occupation, points and where you'll live.

  • Skills assessment and points strategy
  • 189, 190 and 491 state nomination
  • Finding and qualifying a sponsor
  • Regional and DAMA pathways

Partners and families

High stakes, heavy evidence, long timelines. This is where meticulous preparation earns its keep.

  • 820/801 onshore partner
  • 309/100 offshore partner
  • 300 prospective marriage
  • Parent, child and relative visas
  • Relationship evidence, organised properly

Priority service line

Sponsorship, without the compliance anxiety.

Most employers we meet aren't worried about the visa. They're worried about getting the obligations wrong afterwards. Here's the shape of the work.

Immigrad works with hospitality, retail, service stations, electrical and automotive trades, IT consultancies, and regional employers under DAMA arrangements.

Become an approved sponsor

Standard Business Sponsorship approval — the business case, the financials, and the obligations you're signing up to, explained before you sign them.

482

Skills in Demand nomination

Position evidence, the occupation list, salary requirements and labour market testing, assembled the way a decision-maker reads it.

494

Regional sponsorship

Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) and DAMA pathways for employers outside the major centres. Handled remotely, wherever you are.

186

Permanent nomination

Employer Nomination Scheme, including transition from a temporary visa. Keeping the person you trained is usually cheaper than replacing them.

After

Sponsor obligations and monitoring

Record-keeping, notifiable changes and what happens if the role or the business shifts. The part that gets employers into trouble years later.

How it works

Four stages. You'll know where you stand at each one.

No pathway is promised before it's assessed. What we can promise is that you'll hear the honest version early, including when the answer is "not yet".

Eligibility check

You tell us the situation in five questions. We come back with the pathways worth exploring — free, no obligation.

Consultation

A proper conversation with the registered agent. Your facts, the law that applies to them, and the realistic options. By video or in person at Norwest.

Strategy and evidence plan

Written scope, fixed fee, and a document plan that says exactly what you gather and what we prepare. No surprises mid-application.

Lodgement and follow-through

We lodge, we monitor, and we handle requests from the Department. If something changes on your side, tell us — that's what we're here for.

In their words

Most of our clients arrive because someone sent them.

Straight answers

Questions we're asked before anyone books.

Can you guarantee my visa will be approved?

No, and neither can anyone else. Only the Department of Home Affairs decides a visa application, and a registered migration agent who promises an outcome is breaching the Code of Conduct.

What we do is assess your facts against the current law, tell you which pathways you may be eligible to apply for, and prepare the strongest application those facts support. If we think an application is likely to fail, we'll say so before you spend money on it.

Do I need to be in Sydney to work with you?

No. The office is at Norwest in Sydney's north-west, and you're welcome to come in — but most matters run entirely by video and email, for clients and employers right across Australia and overseas.

Regional pathways such as subclass 494, 491 and DAMA arrangements are a specialty and are handled remotely. Note that Sydney itself is not a designated regional area.

What's the difference between a registered migration agent and a lawyer?

A registered migration agent is authorised to give immigration assistance and is regulated by the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority. Immigrad's advice is provided by Gaurav Duggal, MARN 1805710.

A migration lawyer can also act in matters requiring legal representation beyond immigration assistance. If your matter needs that, we'll tell you rather than stretch the engagement.

How much does it cost?

You get a written scope and a fixed professional fee before any work starts, so you know the number in advance. Department application charges, skills assessments, English tests, medicals and police checks are separate and payable to those bodies.

For employers, we'll also map the cost of sponsorship — including the Skilling Australians Fund levy — before you commit to a nomination.

My visa expires soon. Is it too late?

Call rather than fill in the form — +61 434 294 670. Timing changes what's available to you, and there are situations where acting this week and acting next week lead to very different options.

If your visa has already expired, say so plainly when you call. It's a common situation and there are usually still options, but they narrow with time.

My application was refused. Can anything be done?

Often, yes — but review rights run on strict statutory deadlines that cannot be extended. If you've received a refusal or a cancellation notice, the date on that letter is the first thing we need to see.

Bring the decision record and any request for information you received. We'll tell you honestly whether a review, a fresh application, or a different pathway is the better use of your money.

I'm an employer. How long does sponsorship take?

It depends on the stream, the occupation, whether you're already an approved sponsor, and how complete the evidence is when it's lodged. The Department publishes typical processing times, and we'll walk you through the current ones for your situation rather than quote a number here that dates.

The part you control is preparation. Applications that arrive complete tend to move; applications that trigger a request for information do not.

Start with five questions. It costs nothing.

Tell us where you fit and what's happening. Gaurav comes back with the pathways worth exploring — or tells you plainly if the timing isn't right yet.
