What services does Immigrad provide to employers?
Immigrad prepares standard business sponsorship applications, nominations and the associated evidence set: the genuine position case, the annual market salary rate assessment, labour market testing records and the position description. It also handles Skills in Demand subclass 482, subclass 494 and subclass 186 visa applications and advises sponsors on their ongoing obligations.
What services does Immigrad provide to individuals and families?
Partner and family work covers onshore subclass 820/801, offshore subclass 309/100 and prospective marriage subclass 300 applications, plus parent, child and relative visas. Immigrad also advises on skilled visas, student and visitor visas, and on what to do when circumstances change mid-application.
How does Immigrad charge for its work?
Fees are set out in writing before work begins, as the Migration Agents Code of Conduct requires. You are told the professional fee for the scope agreed, and separately the Department of Home Affairs charges that apply to your matter, so you can see which part is the agent fee and which part is government charges.
Are Department of Home Affairs charges included in the agent fee?
No. Government charges are always separate and are paid to the Department. As at 15 September 2026 the Department charges AUD420 for a standard business sponsorship, AUD330 for a subclass 482 nomination and from AUD4,015 for a Core Skills stream subclass 482 visa application. Your own figures depend on your circumstances.
Can Immigrad help if my visa application has been refused?
Immigrad can review a refusal or a request for further information and advise on the options that remain, which may include merits review at the Administrative Review Tribunal or a fresh application on a different basis. Review rights carry strict deadlines, so seek advice as soon as you receive the decision.
Do I need a migration agent at all?
Not always. Straightforward applications with clean evidence are often lodged by applicants themselves. Professional help earns its cost where the case has complications: a nomination that must withstand scrutiny, gaps in a relationship evidence trail, past refusals, health or character issues, or a deadline that leaves no room for a second attempt.
